Welcome to NationalVote.com! We are pleased that you’ve stopped by, and appreciate that you are taking the time to be aware of our policies. We are building a web site that is both helpful and educational, and contributes in our own way as a source of information via the global internet infrastructure.
Please Note: NationalVote.com is not a 501c3 charitable organization, or a formal non-profit business. We are not conducting charitable or not-for-profit business activities in a regulated manner in accordance with state or federal 501c3 regulations.
NationalVote.com however IS a private web-site, operated freely as a place of exchange of information. Our personal goals are to increase awareness and education for the need for voting integrity, voting fraud prevention and other activities, including charitable activities, and other activities that help people and communities. We may have a “donation button” or other for-profit links and affiliate relationships that help us to further our stated goals above. Perhaps one day, we WILL become a non-profit business and ultimately a designated 501c3 activity.

A child’s Profile Information will be used for operation of the service, but it will never be used for uses related to service’s not necessary to its operation (a “Secondary Use”). Please remember NationalVote.com’s specific policies regarding use of the Service for persons aged 18 and older. You may update your Profile information at any time from within your NationalVote.com e-mail account. If you believe your information is not accurately updated within a reasonable period of time, please forward your concerns to the administrator.

Any “cookie” or profile Information collected by NationalVote.com, or partner companies providing services, during services registration is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the general public. You must agree and/or “accept” cookie use for continued services.

1. E-MAIL, MEMBER ACCOUNTS, PASSWORDS, AND SECURITY
If offered in the future, in order to open an NationalVote.com user account, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the Registration Form.
USER’S REGISTRATION OBLIGATIONS
In accordance with Partner and/or Service Provider guidelines, and U.S. Federal Law, User’s must be at least thirteen (13) years old to register for any Services. For a user under the age of 13 to register for e-mail, or other service, the user’s parent or legal guardian must provide proof of consent (ie: a signed form sent by postal mail or fax, a verified credit card number, a phone call to a trained professional, or an e-mail with a digital signature, password or pin number) to NationalVote.com and Partner Services.
During registration you will choose a password and a user account or login name. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to notify NationalVote.com immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
2. MEMBER PRIVACY
It is NationalVote.com’s policy to respect the privacy of its members. You specifically agree that NationalVote.com is not responsible or liable for any threatening, defamatory, obscene, offensive or illegal content or conduct of any other party or any infringement of another’s rights, including intellectual property rights. You agree to indemnify and hold NationalVote.com, any present or future owners, officers and employees, any future parents, subsidiaries or affiliates, harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of your use of or conduct on the Service.
NationalVote.com may, at the Services’ sole discretion, terminate your access to any part or all of the Service and any related service(s) at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately, for any reason whatsoever.
With regard to potential future e-mail Services, NationalVote.com may also terminate your account for inactivity, which is defined as failing to log into the Service for an extended period of time, as determined by NationalVote.com. The amount of time that NationalVote.com currently views as an “extended” period of time is a first log-on to e-mail 10 days or later after registration and after an initial e-mail log-on, 90 days since your last e-mail log-on. Upon termination of the Service, your right to use the Service immediately ceases and you will have to re-register.
If you wish to terminate an e-mail account, your only recourse is to discontinue the use of the Service.
NationalVote.com shall have no obligation to maintain any content in your account or to forward any unread or unsent messages to you or any third party.
9. NO SPAM; DAMAGES
NationalVote.com maintains a strict “anti-spamming” policy. NationalVote.com will immediately terminate any account which it believes, in its sole discretion, is transmitting or is otherwise connected with any spam or other unsolicited bulk e-mail. In addition, because damages are often difficult to quantify, if actual damages cannot be reasonably calculated then you agree to pay NationalVote.com liquidated damages of $5 for each piece of spam or unsolicited bulk e-mail transmitted from or otherwise connected with your account. Otherwise, you agree to pay NationalVote.com’s actual damages, to the extent such actual damages can be reasonably calculated.
10. PARTICIPATION IN PROMOTIONS OF ADVERTISERS
Any dealings with Advertisers on the NationalVote.com Service or participation in promotions, including the delivery of and the payment for goods and services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings or promotions, are solely between you and the Advertiser or other third party. NationalVote.com shall not be responsible or liable for any part of any such dealings or promotions.
11. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS TO CONTENT PROVIDED
The NationalVote.com site is copy protected, and nothing may be used for commercial purposes without permission. NationalVote.com may offer many unrelated sources of content and media. You acknowledge that content, including but not limited to text, software, music, sound, photographs, video, graphics or other material contained in either sponsor advertisements or electronically distributed, commercially produced information presented to you by the Service, by NationalVote.com, or NationalVote.com’s Advertisers or other content providers, is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights and laws. 12. POLICIES REGARDING MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS OF SERVICE
NationalVote.com reserves the right to change the TOS or policies regarding the use of the Service at any time and to notify you by posting an updated version of the TOS on this Web site. NationalVote.com shall provide an updated link or e-mail to alert users of the Service that changes to the TOS have taken place. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the TOS. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
This agreement is presently governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, and the United States of America. Use of the Service is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation this paragraph. Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and NationalVote.com with respect to the Service (excluding the use of any software which may be subject to an end-user license agreement) and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and NationalVote.com with respect to the Service. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. You and NationalVote.com agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to this Service must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action arose; otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred. The section titles in the TOS are solely used for the convenience of the parties and have no legal or contractual significance.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
